Frequently Asked Questions

All of our products are made from 100% pure organic cotton and feature the characteristic soft muslin texture.
In addition, our product range includes OEKO-TEX®-certified and, in some cases, GOTS-certified muslin products that meet the highest standards of quality, sustainability, and skin compatibility. Whenever possible, we use 100% organic muslin cotton.

To keep your favorite muslin pieces looking their best for a long time, please follow these tips:

>>> Muslin Clothing You can wash our garments at 30 °C on the gentle cycle with a mild detergent.
Afterward, it’s best to let them air dry. Please do not use a dryer to dry the garments.
The best part: muslin cotton is 100% wrinkle-free, so its characteristic, slightly crinkled texture is beautifully preserved.

>>> Muslin Bedding & Blankets You can wash our muslin bedding and blankets at 60 °C on the gentle cycle and also let them air dry.
If you’d still like to dry your pure organic cotton muslin bedding in the dryer, please select the gentle cycle.

The same rule applies here: Ironing isn’t necessary and isn’t recommended by us. This preserves the characteristic muslin texture.

With every wash and wear, your favorite cotton muslin piece becomes even softer and develops its beautiful, distinctive muslin texture.

Our Miss Musselin in-house collection is made in Portugal at a small workshop. Here, we craft everything from delicate muslin blouses to cozy muslin jackets. You’re sure to find your favorite piece for every day.

Muslin is an exceptionally soft and breathable fabric that feels wonderfully light against the skin. Thanks to its airy texture—made from finely woven pure cotton—it naturally regulates temperature, keeping you cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
This makes muslin not only a truly comfortable material for clothing but also perfect for bedding. Muslin always feels pleasant, whether the days are warm or cool, and becomes even softer and cozier with every wash.
